Permian Basin Pre-Drill Activity Detections Down 8.5% in August 2021

August 2021 data shows 519 observations of oilfield-related pre-drill dirt work movements in the Permian Basin, according to Sourcewater DirtWork Alert. That is down 8.5% (-48) vs July 2021 activity of 567.

Many of these new observed activities are in progress before a permit has been filed.
